Medicare Coverage

Medicare Made Simple

Understanding your Medicare options shouldn't be complicated. We walk you through every choice — clearly, honestly, and at your own pace.

Medicare Supplement Plans

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans

Medicare Supplement plans — also called Medigap — help cover the gaps that Original Medicare (Parts A & B) leaves behind, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. These plans are sold by private insurance companies and work alongside your Original Medicare coverage.

Predictable Costs

Know exactly what you'll pay each month — no surprise bills from hospital stays or doctor visits.

Freedom to Choose Any Doctor

See any doctor or specialist who accepts Medicare — no network restrictions, no referrals needed.

Nationwide Coverage

Your coverage travels with you anywhere in the U.S. — ideal for retirees who travel or have multiple residences.

Guaranteed Renewable

Your policy can't be cancelled as long as you pay your premiums, regardless of health changes.

Plan G

Most Popular

Covers nearly all out-of-pocket costs after the Part B deductible. The most comprehensive option for new Medicare enrollees.

  • Part A coinsurance & hospital costs
  • Part B coinsurance or copayment
  • Blood (first 3 pints)
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance
  • Skilled nursing facility coinsurance
  • Part A deductible
  • Foreign travel emergency (80%)

Plan N

Great Value

Lower premiums than Plan G with small copays for office and ER visits. A smart balance of coverage and cost.

  • Part A coinsurance & hospital costs
  • Part B coinsurance (with small copays)
  • Blood (first 3 pints)
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance
  • Skilled nursing facility coinsurance
  • Part A deductible
  • Foreign travel emergency (80%)

Plan F

Grandfathered

The most comprehensive plan available — covers the Part B deductible too. Only available if you were eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020.

  • All Plan G benefits
  • Part B deductible
  • Part B excess charges
  • 100% of all Medicare-approved costs

Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage (Part C) Plans

Medicare Advantage plans are an alternative to Original Medicare offered by private insurers approved by Medicare. They bundle Parts A and B — and usually Part D (drug coverage) — into a single plan, often with extra benefits like dental, vision, and hearing.

All-in-One Coverage

Medical, hospital, and often prescription drug coverage bundled into a single, easy-to-manage plan.

Extra Benefits

Many plans include dental, vision, hearing, fitness memberships, and over-the-counter allowances.

Low or $0 Premiums

Many Advantage plans have $0 monthly premiums — you still pay your Part B premium.

Out-of-Pocket Maximum

Your costs are capped each year — Original Medicare has no out-of-pocket limit.

1

HMO Plans

Use a network of doctors and hospitals. Requires a primary care physician and referrals for specialists. Typically the lowest cost option.

2

PPO Plans

More flexibility to see out-of-network providers at a higher cost. No referrals needed for specialists.

3

Special Needs Plans (SNP)

Tailored for people with specific chronic conditions, dual Medicare/Medicaid eligibility, or those in certain institutions.

4

PFFS Plans

Private Fee-for-Service plans let you see any Medicare-approved provider who accepts the plan's payment terms.
